Raconteur and essayist with a funny bone.
An educator by profession. I am an American teacher, traveller, essayist and [fiction] writer. For the past five years, I have been living abroad while starting a family in Serbia, working in Europe and the Middle East and yes, there was a time when I was a filmmaker.
I occasionally write fiction, poetry and work on the odd script.
I use this outlet to reflect on travel, education, philosophy, society, and literature. Like Kafka, I believe that reading is as necessary for the organism as oxygen.
I hold a BA in English from Arizona State University, studied Linguistics with the University of Nottingham and am working on an MA in Educational Leadership and Management. Wish me luck!
